The Webelos program is a two year program starting in the Fourth Grade.
The Webelos II Den is made up of Fifth Graders. After completing the advancement requirements for the Webelo badge, the scout can join up with a Boy Scout troop and continue the scouting trail.
The Bobcat Badge is the first rank that a new Webelos II will earn. This award is typically awarded at the Bobcat Ceremony
All new boys in the Second to Fifth grade need to earn this award first before working on the grade specific advancement -- The Webelos Badge for Fifth Grade.
